1. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code or use its content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.
We may update, change or withdraw parts of the website from time to time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from errors.
2. Products and descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device or the production process.
All products are subject to availability. We may withdraw or change products, prices or specifications at any time before an order is accepted.
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are the prices payable at the time you place your order, unless an obvious pricing error has occurred. Delivery charges are shown separately where applicable before you complete checkout.
Payments are processed securely through the payment methods offered at checkout. We do not store your full card details.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
5. Delivery
Our current delivery information, including estimated dispatch and delivery times, is set out in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. If something outside our reasonable control causes a delay, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed.
For deliveries outside the UK, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local charges that may apply unless we state otherwise.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
If you are a consumer buying online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after you receive the goods, without giving a reason. After telling us you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Some goods may be excluded from the cancellation right where the law allows, including certain personalised or made-to-order products. Any relevant exclusion will be made clear before purchase.
Further information about returns and refunds, including how to contact us, is set out in our Refund Policy.
7. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Your legal rights are not affected by these terms. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise does not meet the standards required by law, please contact us at [email protected].
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including Teuchter branding, product designs, text, graphics and original images, is owned by or licensed to Teuchter. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you must not reproduce or commercially exploit our content without permission.
9. Third-party services and links
We use third-party services to operate parts of the website, including payment, analytics, email and ecommerce services. Your use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s terms and privacy information.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or availability of websites we do not control.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded, or any rights you have as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when a contract was formed, or for business losses where you are purchasing as a consumer.
11. Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order will normally apply to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. Any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected.
14. Contact us
If you have any questions about these terms or an order, contact Teuchter at [email protected].
